2024 TD Summer Reading Club for Tweens & Teens
TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest summer reading program for young readers of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is designed to let tweens and teens explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Registration begins Friday, June 28, 2024.

Prize levels
- Five hours read - Swim pass
- Ten hours read - Dairee Delite coupon
- Fifteen hours read - McDonald's coupon
- Twenty hours read - Paris Fair admission pass & ribbon
- Twenty-four hours read - A new book!*
*Book prizes are available for pickup at the end of summer.
How to participate
Log your reading minutes to earn online badges and other cool prizes! For every logging, activity, and book review badge earned, you'll receive an online ticket to enter into one of our weekly prize draws. The more tickets you earn, the more chances you have to win!
Log 24 hours of reading to complete the TD Summer Reading Challenge and receive a new book!

Studies show that school-age children lose some of their reading ability over the summer months if they do not continue to read while they are out of school. Summer reading programs are a proven tool to help bridge the gap between school years and maintain academic achievement.
The TDSRC inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way—the key to building a lifelong love of reading. The benefits of the Club are clear: recent surveys indicate that 87% of kids read more often or the same amount over the summer, and 96% of parents/caregivers agreed that their child maintained or improved their reading skills over the summer!
