The Library Board is responsible for setting policies for the governance and the operation of the County of Brant Public Library, in accordance with the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.44. Any questions or concerns about a specific policy can be directed to CEO Kelly Bernstein.
Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Policy |
The County of Brant Public Library Board makes information about the Library available to the public, and protects the privacy of all individuals' personal information in its custody in keeping with the access and privacy provisions of MFIPPA and other applicable legislation. Internet and Wifi Access |
All branches of the Library have public wireless internet access. Users must accept our Terms of Use before using this service. Each branch also provides computers for public internet access. These computers are available on a first come, first-served basis. Library computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before closing time, so please plan your visit accordingly. The Library does not use filters. Parents are responsible for monitoring their children's use. |

Membership Policy |
The County of Brant Public Library is a library without borders. Anyone can get a card. Simply show us some adequate identification (like a driver's license, a rental agreement, a utility bill, etc.) and we will get you signed up with a membership. Read our Membership Policy for more information. |

Other Inappropriate Content: any content that promotes particular services, products, or political organizations and/or infringes on copyrights or trademarks. Individuals are prohibited from advertising or offering to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters. Any other content that we deem is in contradiction to our policies. |
