This self-service kiosk contains a selection of new and popular books and DVDs for children, teens, and adults.
Accessible 24/7, the kiosk is located in the lobby of the Onondaga Fire Hall (734 Highway 54, Onondaga, Ontario).
In addition to our kiosk, we continue to offer our Onondaga Mobile Library Service in-person every Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm at the above location.
See what materials are currently in the kiosk (Note: some materials may be checked out or on-order).
Scan your library card and enter your PIN. The door to the kiosk will open. Browse the shelves just like you would at the library. You can pick the books up, read the description, and put back anything that doesn’t interest you. Removing a book to browse does NOT check the book out to you. Once you’ve made your selection(s), simply close the door. The kiosk will take inventory of the books you have borrowed and will print a receipt for your records.
The kiosk will provide a receipt, on paper or by email, with the due date listed for each item.
Items borrowed from the kiosk can be returned to the drop box beside the kiosk, or to any County of Brant Public Library branch.
The same rules and loan periods apply to material borrowed from the kiosk as they do from another library location. We do not charge for books returned a little bit late. We DO charge you for anything that is lost. If you don't bring it back, we consider it lost and you will receive a bill to replace the items.
