Library programs for all ages are subject to the following program policies. Registration for library programs constitutes agreement to these policies.
Children's Program Policies
Registration
- You may not register for programs before official registration dates.
- You must register for all programs except drop-in programs.
- Some programs require that you, or another caregiver, remain in the library during the program.
- Children must meet the minimum age requirement at the start of the program.
Cancellation
- Programs may be cancelled if not enough children are registered.
- You will be notified of cancelled programs as early as possible, and a refund will be made.
- Programs are cancelled if inclement weather has closed local schools. Programs will be rescheduled and refunds will not be made.
- You must notify the library as early as possible if you are unable to attend a program, and no refunds will be made.
Photography or recording
The library is considered a public space. By attending library programs you consent to be photographed or recorded for County of Brant Public Library publicity purposes. Names will only be used in photograph captions with written consent of the caregiver.
Adult Program Policies
Cancellation by the library
- You will be notified of a cancelled program as early as possible.
- You will be refunded any paid fee.
Cancellation by the registrant
- You must notify the library as early as possible if you are unable to attend a program.
- You will be refunded any paid fee if you cancel at least one week before the program.
- If you miss a program, or cancel less than one week in advance, you will not receive a refund.
